Date based on stamp box. Handwritten note on reverse identifies the scene as "just outside of Chesley" where a train is going under a bridge. Please see photos for details. Note lighting variations may alter colors of item in photos.
From Wikipedia:Chesley originally developed around mills built on theSaugeen Riveraround 1858.It expanded further when it was connected to theGrand Trunk Railwayin 1881. A great fire destroyed most of the original downtown core in 1888, and the destroyed wood buildings were replaced by brick and stone.
