1940s - 1950s circa Temporary Airfield Support Unit made by. Grumman for US Military (Air Force & Navy decals have been removed)

Before Airstream existed, Grumman produced 1 model of Airplane designed for Business Class use and called it a "Gulfstream". It is likely that the trailer was the inspiration for the Airstream which was produced years later. It's much more utilitarian and durable. You won't see another like it.

Window and door latch need repair and thusly some MINOR damage due to weather in those places. (see pics) Otherwise no leaks and straight all the way around, top to bottom!

Grumman (now Northrop Grumman) was/is a leading manufacturer of airplanes for nearly a century) They have been government contractor for NASA, UPS, US Mail trucks and MANY fighter planes. They built this unit for temporary/mobile Airfield Support in late 40s /early 50s. The orange and white checkers are standard for runway support buildings. The paint is washing off due to age and you can see aluminum shining through.
