Vintage 64-Page Softcover Book measures approximately 6-1/8\" x 9-1/8\". \"U.S. ARMY AIRCRAFT (HEAVIER THAN AIR) 1908-1946\" catalogues the United States Army\'s airplanes, from the first flimsy pusher through the full roster of gasoline-engined models to the latest mentionable jet, turbo and rocket-propelled craft. Photos/illustrations of the aircraft together with useful descriptive and technical data are included.
The Vintage Book was Copyright 1946, by author James C. Fahey, Editor, \"The Ships and Aircraft of the United States Fleet\", and Published by Ships and Aircraft, New York. It is a marked FIRST EDITION. The Vintage Book is in Excellent Condition for its Considerable Age. Noted for accuracy is a name of former owner and date written inside front cover which have been covered by marker. Please see accompanying photographs.
