Mainly used in the European Theater of Operations as a weapon against the Luftwaffe, the P-51 Mustang didn\'t enter the Pacific Theater of Operations until the final months of the war.The P-51 with a red tail is associated with the 332nd Fighter Group, the Tuskegee Airmen, a well known group of African-American fighter pilots who served in WWII. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American aviators in the United States military.
