We continue to reduce our collections built up over many years. These Midland Railway badges being purchased from the Erlestoke Manor Fund, Bewdley in the 1980s.

Midland Railway (MR) - Set of two Wyvern Police Department Collar Dogs / Badges. They are complete with fixing pins. One wyvern faces left and one right but appear to be slightly different in design - I’ve checked the others I have and looked at ones on the internet and none seem to be an exact matching pair. They appear to be made from white metal / nickel.

They measures an inch square (approx). No makers mark and have two fixing loops. The rear fixing loops are also white metal / nickel.

The badges are in good original condition with no apparent damage, they have some signs of wear / age. The fixing pins are slightly rusty - see photographs which form part of the description.
