For sale is a VERY INTERESTING collection of 28 DMF badges that each tell a story. There are some very interesting vintage years and combined with very interesting plate numbers. There are several with 3-digit numbers, which always cary a little bit more value than higher 4-digit plate numbers.
Del Monte Forest gate badges are used by property owners within the hallowed gates of Pebble Beach, California. These license plate auto badges have been used in Pebble Beach since 1928. There are also 7 elite and word class golf courses within Pebble Beach, making it a golfing mecca and on the bucket list of many passionate golfers.
Used and in very vintage condition. Some are old survivors and some are in pretty fresh condition with almost all of their paint coverage. Lots of these badges in this set, are missing paint, and have chips, dings, dents, scratches, and donkey kicks too.
You get 1970 x1, 1971 x1, 1972 x2, 1973 x1, 1974 x2, 1975 x2, 1976 x2, 1977 x2, 1978 x3, 1979 x2, 1980 x1, 1982 x2, 1984 x1, 1993 x1, 1994 x2, 1997 x1, 2002 x1, 2007 x1. This equals a total of 28 vintage DMF badges/plates. Badges are shipped loose, the backboard in photos is NOT INCLUDED.
These badges are made from stamped aluminum by an historic private license plate manufacturing company located in California. The plates measure approx. 4.25" x 3.75" inches.
