This plane entered service in early 1977. It was one of the 18 727s that were flown by Alitalia between 1976 and 1985. They were replaced by MD-82s since december 1983. Nowadays, the short-medium range Alitalia fleet is made of MD-82s, A321s and A320s. At that time, it was made of 727s, DC-9s and Caravelles (until 1979). Features moving parts: flaps, slats, landing gear, ailerons, spoilers, elevators; transparent cockpit windows, night-lighted passenger windows; 12-sided fuselage and engines; landing lights.
