    Good Kerosene Lantern

    Lantern works fine. Carry handle is made of a soft easy to bend aluminum. The only cooking use I would probably use is to brew coffee or hot water for instant foods. I purchased it more for the lantern than heating food but it is a nice option in an emergency situation where you can't build a fire.
