A nice example of a WW1 aircraft tachometer circa 1917 as used in the Spad etc. These instruments are also fitted in top quality high performance vintage cars as being manufactured by Jaeger meant top grade. The dial is very clear and legible and the bevelled glass is in good shape with only a couple of very light scratches that you have to look for. The rear edge at the back of the instrument has been lightly dressed presumably to fit to a panel. The needle moves when the drive is spun and it ticks back to rest but it is an in original condition instrument.
