Fabulous posterfeaturing lovely art scene of the France Alps! Beautiful art! Rare poster!

The Pyrénées is a range of mountains in southwest Europe that forms a natural border between France and Spain. Reaching a height of 3,404 metres (11,168 ft) altitude at the peak of Aneto, the range separates the Iberian Peninsula from the rest of continental Europe. For the most part, the main crest forms a divide between France and Spain, with the microstate of Andorra sandwiched in between.

Lourdes is a small market town lying in the foothills of the Pyrenees. It is part of the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region in south-western France. Prior to the mid-19th century, the town was best known for the Château fort de Lourdes, a fortified castle that rises up from a rocky escarpment at its center. Lourdes is a site of religious pilgrimage and tourism, hosts around six million visitors every year from all corners of the world, and is the second most important center of tourism in France, second only to Paris. The Téléphérique du Béout (Cable Car of the Béout), constructed in the 1930s, located southwest of the city of Lourdes, ascended the mountain called \"The Béout\" (Altitude 719m). It ceased operations in the 1990s as it was no longer in compliance with new safety standards. There is great nostalgia for this cable car because it was free and because the young people of that time remember looking down through the cracks in the wooden floor of the cabin where you could see the emptiness below.
