The Curtiss JN-4 \'Jenny\' was one of a series of \'JN\' biplanes built by the Curtiss Aeroplane Company of Hammondsport, New York. This fighter bi-plane was one of the most capable, faster and stronger than many of its contemporaries. This replica model of the Curtiss Jenny is handmade on a scale of 1:24. It features iron frame, wire accents, propeller and wheels. A must have for the collector and enthusiast.

8 Jun 20This model is hanging in my library, which has an African theme. It is very reminiscent of the plane in the film Out of Africa and that was the feel that I wanted. It has an antique quality and has the feel of being a plane that was actually flown rather than something shiny as a new penny! It is well made, and detailed. It really adds the sense of adventurous romance to my library that I was hoping for!

17 Jun 18The airplane is both a model and a metal sculpture. Encompasses hardware (nuts and small screws), and nice sheet metal work with an artists eye to produce a kind of industrial art. I have several OMH model ships and the company keeps on amazing me. Packaged a little on the light side but it arrived safely.
