This was given to a Lockheed executive celebrating his 50 years with the company.

He received this model in 1974.

This specific model never had a stand and hung in his office.

Amazing factory original condition with almost no wear.

I would rate a 9 out of 10 with only a few minor blemish.

ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR L-1011

I think we all can agree that L-1011s are special and built in 1974, is in a class of its own for a number of reasons. First, it was one of just two L-1011s which were specially configured for delivery customer Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) with a forward lounge in an area which would have typically been for cargo. Secondly, after serving with a number of carriers, this plane was acquired by a non-profit which converted it into a flying hospital. The majority of the plane has been thoughtfully retrofitted to medical treatment and surgical areas. The plane served on missions all around the world, bringing efficient and much-needed care to those in need.
