This sale is for a RARE & VINTAGE 1958 RIFFE AIR FRANCE 1/60 SCALE BOEING 707-328A REGISTRATION #F-BHSB SOLID METAL TRAVEL AGENCY DESKTOP DISPLAY MODEL AIRPLANE WITH ORIGINAL METAL BASE STAND.
The model is one (1) piece and is made of solid metal. The airplane model itself measures approximately 28.00\" long x 26.50\" wingspan x 8.00\" tall. The original metal base stand measure approximately 7.40\" long x 5.00\" wide (varies) x 8.50\" tall (varies). The model and base stand together weigh approximately 14 lbs pounds. I acquired this rare model from an estate, from a former airline executive, who later owned and operated a travel agency.
Important Information About This Rare Airplane Model & Stand:
There\'s a few small smudge spots, a few small dirt spots, a few small scuff spots, a few small scratch spots on various areas of the model. The model shows some very minor paint and decal loss. The model\'s original fuselage main color of white and decals have yellowed slightly over the years. The wing tip edges, stabilizer edges, nose tip area and top edges of the tail section all show some very minor wear. The metal base stand shows a few minor scratches, dirt spots, smudge spots on it. Overall, the model airplane and base stand are in as is condition, for being approximately fifty six (56) years old. The model and stand are being sold in \"as is condition\". The original Riffe Wooden Factory Crate, is unfortunately not included. I\'ll certainly take great care in boxing this model up for shipping to the winning high buyer.
