Superb, attractive porcelain cruet set in the shape of an early aircraft. French, marked as a German import, with \" Berck-Plage, La Plage a mer haute \" picture on the side showing a seaside picture. In the early 20th C the town was a place where aircraft were trialled because of the favourable air currents.
Never seen a cruet set like this before.
17 cms long by 12 cms wingspan.
No chips, cracks - just needs corks for the bottom of the salt and pepper container.
A very decorative, charming item for display or for use
