This Lot Consists of an Original, 1970\'s Alitalia Airlines - DC-10 Travel Agency - Desk / Counter Top Airplane Model. Model Comes Unused in It\'s Original, Opened Factory Box. The Plastic Airplane Model is Still Bagged and In It\'s Original Cardboard Holder. It Also Comes With The Original Wire Stand, Also In It\'s Original Slot. I Believe The Maker of The Model is Airplast, Milano, Italy, But Not Going To Say Definitely So.
I am Listing This Piece as \"Used\", Even Though It Has Never Been Removed From It\'s Original Shipping Box, Because There is No Item Condition Choice To Reflect This.

Model\'s box came with top staples already carefully pulled thru top flaps and are still attached to inner ones by previous owner. I know this, because, I am the one who purchased this model and another one, directly from the original owner, (which I sold several years ago). Now\'s time for this one to find a new home. I am doubtful that many, if any, remain in their original boxes. You are getting it as I got it from him.
Model\'s measurements are approx. since I am not removing it from holder. Length: Approx. 11\", Wingspan: Approx. 10-1/4\". The model comes as pictured (be sure to view all of them), is sold as-is with all faults, both visible and hidden, if any. The model is not returnable due to fragile nature of it, so again, be aware of this and view all pics before purchasing.
I purchased the models from a retired employee of Alitalia who worked with them from the early 1950\'s until the mid 1980\'s. This piece has been stored away by me since I purchased it from the employee, years ago.
Model comes as pictured, still in it\'s original cardboard insert and plastic protection bag. The Outer box has some light marks and pressure creases on top and bottom from stacking and some white staining on one end. Box is still firm and stands freely as shown in pics. I am not removing it from the packing, so the new owner will get the opportunity to say that the unpacked it themselves. I will also ship it securely inside of a larger, padded box.
