This complete set of unique, limited edition Metrocards honouring the memory of David Bowie was purchased moments ago at the Broadway-Lafayette subway stop in New York City after waiting in queue amidst the crowds of NYC rush hour for over 1 hour. They are only available in limited quantities at this station (close to where David Bowie lived in NYC). The only way to guarantee getting a full complete set was to pay in cash at the toll booth. The cards were also randomly dispensed at select Metrocard self-service machines at this station.

These limited run Metrocards were released in collaboration with Spotify and the “David Bowie Is” exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum.
