8\" by 12\" color print ofContinental Airlines Boeing 747-238B at LAX in February 1987. Delivered new to Qantas in December 1971, this 747 was supposed to go to Eastern Airlines in 1980 as N371EA and was painted before Eastern declined to take it. It was re-registered N747BN by Boeing Capital Corporation before being delivered to PEOPLExpress in September 1985. It went on to Continental in 1987 when CO acquired PE and was returned to the lessor in October 1991. Garuda Indonesia leased it in May 1992 and it was scrapped for parts in September 1994.
