This is a J 47 General Electric Turbine Engine. They were used in the F-86 Sabre Jets. There are no logs or history on this engine, it has recently been used as a display at an Air Museum. Included is the stand it is currently mounted on, however the stand\'s tires are flat and will need to be replaced. It is being sold AS IS WHERE IS, as non airworthy and for a display or mockup only. Other than the fact that the exposed blades turn and don\'t appear to have any damage I know nothing else about the condition of the engine.
