Air Force 1 Models Boeing B-29 Superfortress \"Raz\'n Hell\" 1:144 Scale VERY RARE: $99.95
The Boeing B-29 Superfortress is a four-engine propeller driven heavy bomber that was flown during World War Two and the Korean War primarily by the United States. It was one of the largest operational aircraft during the war and highly advanced for the time, and was the first bomber to have a pressurized cabin. It had its maiden flight on 21 September 1942. There were a total of 3,970 aircraft manufactured. Only two airworthy B-29\'s exist today, \"FIFI\" and \"DOC\". This B-29, \"Raz\'n Hell, flew with the 28th Bombardment Squadron, 19th Bombardment Group, out of Kadena Air Base during the Korean War. The aircraft flew 50 combat missions over Noth Korea. The aircraft is now on display at the United States Air Force Museum at Castle Air Force Base at Atwater, California. This 1:144 scale, diecast, highly detailed reproduction of \"Raz\'n Hell\" is an out of production and very difficult model to find. The model features engine cowl flaps in the open position, rotating propellers, rolling landing gear tires and landing gear that can be shown in the flight mode or in the landing configuration on the included display stand. The box has minor shelf wear. The model is approximately 8.25\" long with a 11.50\" wingspan. All sales are final. Shipping to the USA only. NOTE: This model has a very small minor paint blemish on the upper portion of the wings due to inferior engineering clam shell design. It is very difficult to see in the photographs. It should be an easy fix for any experience hobbyist (of which I am not). A small touch of silver paint is all that is needed. NOTE: This is a very difficult model to find. This is a great price for a rare model of this historic aircraft. This is the only one available.
