American Export Lines: A big (23\" by 35\") fold-out plan issued in February 1960, right after the ATLANTIC was bought by American Export to supplement their popular CONSTITUTION and INDEPENDENCE. American Banner Lines had unsuccessful operated the ship in transatlantic service beginning in 1958.The brochure opens to an aerial drawing which shows her stern pool, the largest afloat at the time. Opening the brochure further reveals six big B&W interior photos from Tourist Class: Lounge, Dining Room, Ball Room, Theater, and two different cabins. The final fold shows detailed plans of six decks, and more photos of the Card Room, Navigator\'s Lounge, and the Henry Hudson Lounge. Also are included are two photos from the very small First Class - Colony Room Restaurant and a stateroom.
