THIS BEAUTIFUL SET OF VINTAGE MAPS IS OF SIGNIFICANT HISTORIC VALUE. NOTE THE LOCATION OF THE VAIOURS INDIAN RESERVATIONS IN THE STATE. ALSO THE EARLY RAILROAD SYSTEMS OF THIS REGION. THE MAPS SHOW THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TRANSPORtATION SYSTEM OF THIS REGION JUST AFTER THE TURN OF THE CENTRUY. THIS MAP CAN BE A VALUABLE TOOL IN TRACING REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND HISTORY.
These maps will matt and frame very nicely. There is an index of counties and towns and a 1/4" margin around each map. The paper has browned slightly but is in excellent condition for its age. You may note the condition of the map in the DETAILED scans that accompany this sale. The old maps come from three different old Encyclopedic Atlas and may vary somewhat in paper quality and conditon.
