From my airship collection I offer this original lapel pin badge made as a promotional itemfor the last of the Great Airships. My scans are a bit fuzzy. This great pin is not. Made for the LZ 130 last HINDENBURG class airships. Known also as the Graf Zeppelin II.The airship was built in 1938 and flew only until Sept. 1939 and wasdismantled for war parts in April 1940. The airship is well detailed evenshowing the props on the engines. Listed by Kaiser as his #626 it is 43.3mm long by 10mm, or just under 1 3/4 inches in length. Pin is still fully functional. Scarce.
