History of this Glass:

In the mid-1980's, I bought a set of ( 4 ) of these glasses and a matching pitcher) at a thrift store in Beaver Falls, PA ( about 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh ). I bought the set because the etching on it looked, to me, to be "close" to what I remembered the scene being on the P & LE Unit Coal Train scene that is shown on the postcard in the second picture.

To me, when I squinted and looked at the markings under the cab window of the first locomotive, I saw a "P" and possibly something that looked like it might be the "&."

The owner of the thrift shop told me that he had bought it at an estate sale a few years, and that he remembered that, at that estate sale, there were a lot of other railroad items for sale, including Pittsburgh & Lake Erie items.

Due to used condition, this item is being sold "As Pictured"
