Seamaster had a very
colourful history, well
documented on the net,
for anyone who is
interested,so I do not
propose to give a
detailed account.The
aircraft has always been
a favourite of mine and
it made a big change for
me to produce it,as my
usual contributions
being vintage prop
aircraft.So what do you
get ?I have tried my
usual methods to produce
an authentic looking
visual model,with good
flight characteristics
using only default
instruments etc. and in
this instance,it
certainly pleases me!Do
not look for a virtual
cockpit,there isn't
one.The panel is a
rearranged 737 (with the
Lear backups) so it
should be no problem to
use.** The FSX version
uses the default
b737_800 panels and
sound ATC can be
tailored to your own
preference.Converted

HINTS ON
FLYING
A flying boat,no problem.Start at
any airfield,hit y (slew) then F4,then
y again and head for the nearest
water. The Seamaster can be landed
at high speed but you must level it
out and touchdown on the step. (the
original had severe "dig in"problems
too) You have a very efficient water
rudder and can water taxi unlimited.
(do not forget the water rudder is a
toggle on/off system so I found it
handy to assign it to a spare
joystick button)
With regard to general flying,just
point the nose up and go.She will do
mach 0.9 at 40,000 ft. all day long.
Thunder down the Ptomac as the
original did !
INSTALLATION
Unzip,identify, and drop the
seamaster folder into the FS9
aircraft folder and the file fx_seamex
into the FS9 effects folder.
